Before we start to tell how to use portable apps, first thing is to tell what is the difference between an ordinary software and its portable version.
Portable version is totally similar to its normal version, difference is just that you don't have to install the portable version on your PC.
Lets take an example, CS4 is a very useful as well as a very hvy tool(around 700-800 Mb), But its portable version is less than 100 Mb.
Another difference is that there is no directory for the portable version , but when you install its normal version it makes a folder of the app in your C: drive(mostly).
Now to use a portable app, just
Download the portable version, some of the apps are here- Download Portable Apps .After you have downloaded the app extract it, is downloadsub.blogspot.com .Now you will have your portable app(not its setup).Just open it and it will directly start the software.Hope this post helps you all.
